Bethany 4-H Butterfly Garden Progress

Our garden has flourished beautifully since we planted it back in February.

Earlier today we weeded the garden and gave it a new coat of mulch.

Afterwards the garden was watered.

The garden is sporting a new sign and a bunch of beautiful flowers.

We are even growing green beans.

We revisit the garden to give some sun protection mulch

The Bethany 4-H Club plants a beautiful, new butterfly garden for the residents of
Oak Springs Villas.

A resident C. Jones gave the club a gardening gift for their accomplishment.

The Bethany 4-H Food Show/ 4-H and Oak Springs Villas partnership 1st year anniversary (December-3-2016)

Last Saturday, The Bethany 4-H Club held a 4-H Food Show at Oak Springs Villas.

 The Participants (Baushah, Jordan, Gabriela, Yahaira, Zion, and Caleb) all made delectable dishes to present to the residents of Oak Springs Villas. 

Baushah presented her Meatless Parmesan Pasta Salad, Jordan revealed his Tomato Soup and Zion displayed his Coconut Red Velvet cake. Caleb presented his Black Bean Avocado Wrap. 

Gabriela and Yahaira exhibited their Cooked Asparagus and Home-made Peach Cobbler.     

The residents were able to observe the dishes and vote which one they thought looked Tasty!

After The Bethany 4-H Food Show, the club handed out gifts, sang songs, and took a Group Photo with everyone.
